Centre for Knowledge by Experience

Centre for Experiential Knowledge aims to integrate educational and research activities of the Faculty of Social Studies, University of Ostrava into an expertise grounded in participatory approaches, with the goal of cultivating an environment that enables us to listen to the voices of marginalised groups through teaching, research, and social work practice.

SEKEHE Erasmus+ Project
From 2022 to 2025, we were part of the international SEKEHE Erasmus+ project "Structural Embedding of Knowledge by Experience in Higher Education through the Process of Co-creation", which focused on international experience-sharing with the integration of lived experience into higher education teaching.
