The Dean of the Faculty of Social Studies of the University of Ostrava announces Tender ref. No OU-134915/20-2024 to fill a job:
- Assistant Professor in Social Work at the Department of Social Work, academic worker
Type of systemized position:
- Assistant Professor
Expected start:
- January 1st, 2025
Employment:
- 100-50 % (by agreement)
Employment contract:
- Definite period (with the possibility of extension)
Qualification requirements:
- university education in social work or related disciplines
- awarding of the academic degree Ph.D. in the doctoral study program Social Work
- active pedagogical activity
- research and publication activities in the field (especially in periodicals listed in the Web of Science database)
- English B2, Czech C1v
- Communication and organizational skills
- Independence, ability to work in a team
Description of activities:
- Guaranteeing courses and teaching them in Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes
- Supervising and opposing university theses
- Membership in committees of state final examinations in Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes
- Leadership and participation in research projects of the department
- Publications in the field
- Participation in international cooperation
- Participation in the organizational provision of research activities, pedagogical activities and operation of the workplace
Salary conditions:
- according to the Internal Wage Regulation of the OU
