Job description

  • assists with the collection, processing and analysis of qualitative data
  • under the supervision of a research fellow – associate professor and research project leader, works on data analysis using situational analysis and discourse analysis methods
  • prepares case studies based on the data
  • contributes to publications
  • is responsible for disseminating findings on energy poverty among practitioners; will coordinate the preparation of workshops and other professional events for social workers, educators and the general public

Qualification requirements – required

  • University degree in social work or related disciplines
  • PhD degree in Social Work or a related field
  • Active teaching, research and publishing activity in the field (publications indexed in Web of Science are welcome)
  • Proficiency in English at B2 level
  • Czech language proficiency at C1 level
  • Communication and organisational skills
  • Independence, ability to work in a team

The expected form of employment

  • 20–30% (by agreement)

The duration of employment

  • fixed-term – 1 year

The expected start date

  • 1 July 2026 (or by agreement)

Wage conditions

  • in accordance with the OU′s Internal Salary Regulations

Information about the selection procedure

The first round of the selection process will take place without the candidates being physically present, with the selection committee assessing the submitted materials.

The Dean of the Faculty reserves the right to invite only selected candidates to a personal interview and, at the same time, the right not to select any candidate. The Dean of the FSS may also cancel or repeat the selection process.
