Who are we, and with whom do we work?
We are an organization that works with people with mental illnesses. Our mission is to help people with mental illness increase their functioning in everyday life and to alleviate the stigmatization of mental illness. We provide two social services: the social rehabilitation centre Na Jihu and the social therapeutic workshop Kafárna.
What do we offer to our clients?
We offer employment to clients with disabilities in the area of catering, event management, coffee shop service to guests, cleaning, greenery maintenance, and handicraft activities in our sewing and decoration workshop.
Student internships
During the internship, you have the opportunity to become acquainted with two social services we provide. These are the social rehabilitation centre Na Jihu and the social therapeutic workshop Kafárna. You will meet with social service workers, and upon their agreement also with our clients. You will learn about how our services work, and what the responsibilities of social workers involve.
We also employ people with disabilities in various areas, such as preparation of catering, event management, serving our guests in the coffee shop, cleaning, greenery maintenance, and handicraft activities in our sewing and decoration workshop. You will be given the opportunity to meet work assistants and other colleagues, and actively participate in the Spirála operations.
