First graduates of follow-up master’s degree ‘Coordination of rehabilitation and long-term health and social care’

In the 2016/2017 academic year, the first graduates of the follow-up master’s degree ‘Coordination of rehabilitation and long-term health and social care’ (in the study programme Health and Social Care) completed their studies at the Faculty of Social Studies. The degree has been accredited as an interdisciplinary programme in cooperation with the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Ostrava and it is at present the only programme of its type in the Czech Republic. It focuses on training specialists to work in multidisciplinary teams, finding complex solutions to the after-effects of health condition changes. The first graduation ceremony took place on 3 July 2017.
