- Assistant Professor in the field of social work
at the Social Work Department, academic worker
Type of allocated position:
- Assistant Professor
Expected start date:
- 1 September 2021
Workload:
- 50% (depending on mutual agreement)
Work contract type:
- Fixed-term contract
Qualification prerequisites:
- Ph.D. in Social Policy and Social Work
- Research and publishing activities in the area of social work
- Experience in the field welcomed
- Teaching experience at university welcomed
- Language skills: English (B2 level)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Independent, ability to work in a team
Job description:
- Guarantor and lecturer in Bachelor’s and Follow-up Master’s degree programmes in the field of social work
- Supervisor and second reader of university qualification theses
- Member of the state final examination committees in Bachelor’s and Follow-up Master’s degree programmes
- Leadership and participation in research projects of the department
- Publishing output in the field of social work
- Active involvement in international cooperation
- Department administrative coordinator
Wage conditions:
- according to the Internal Wage Regulations of the UO

The first round of the staff selection procedure will take place without the candidate’s personal presence by assessing the submitted materials by a selection committee.
The Faculty Dean reserves the right to invite only selected candidates to a personal meeting and at the same time the right not to select any candidate. The Dean may also cancel or repeat the selection procedure.
