AnotationThe research project focuses on exploring the practice of job mediation in the activation context. In the framework of a research study, we will examine interactions between workers of the labour office and their clients. This will allow us to observe staff conduct the ways of implementing activation policy in a particular institutional context. The aim of the study is to find out how workers interpret the activation strategies and what methods of activation they implement on that basis? We start from the fact that the practice of job mediation is inevitably carried out on a complex continuum between enforcement and empowerment practices. The epistemological basis of the study is an interpretative approach and critical theory. The author's value solution is an anti-neoliberal approach. The objective will be achieved through a qualitative research strategy. The data will be analysed using constructivist grounded theory. Intended research should contribute to the discussion on the implementation of activation policies and individual activation strategies of individual workers. The core of these discussions should form the basis of the current employment policy and their impact on the practice of job mediation at the labour office.
