ECSPRESS

The ECSPRESS Office was established in 1998 at the University of Ostrava under the leadership of doc. PaedDr. Oldřich Chytil, Ph.D. after the European Consortium of Social Professions in Educational and Social Studies – ECSPRESS – had ended its activities. Originally, the consortium was formed in 1996 by three organizations EASSW, FESET and ECCE, within the framework of the EU Socrates/Erasmus programmes and their thematic network of "Social Professions for Social Europe".

Aims:

• Exchange of information about possible joint projects,
• support of exchange programmes for students and teachers,
• joint organization of conferences and seminars,
• editorial activities.

History:

The ECSPRESS Consortium (the European Consortium of Social Professions with Educational and Social Studies) was formed in 1996 by three European academic organizations: EASSW, FESET and ECCE. The co-ordinator of the consortium is Fachhochschule Koblenz.
